 The name of the vodka literally translates to "bitter vodka for the stomach". Despite its name, Wodka Zoladkowa Gorzka is a bitter-sweet, amber-coloured vodka with a unique spiced aroma and herbal flavor. Wodka Zoladkowa Gorzka is made according to the orginial 1956 recipe, following the traditional Polish practice of infusing alcohol with dried fruits and herbs. The distinctive taste of Wodka Zoladkowa Gorzka is the result of combining many herbs and fruits in a secret recipe including, among others: wormwood, gentian root, pepper, galangal, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg. Wodka Zoladkowa Gorzka owes its distinctive colour to the addition of caramel.
