Aged for almost 3 years, Alquemia leads with sweet, floral nuances, baked agave, caramel and vanilla showing a fluent, careful oak demonstration that is lubricious revealing sarsaparilla, roasted bell (or sweet poblano) peppers, kola nut and Baies rose berries; Alquimia is fragrant and evocative. The flavors are filled with quince, persimmon, spices, vanilla and fresh cilantro in a medium body that is loaded with dessert tones like: vanilla, pecan pie and sweet baking spice. The finish is a long, lingering, redolent fade.
