The 2003 vintage surpasses in richness the 2002 vintage which Robert Parker called 'the greatest wine value I have ever tasted.'  The nose of this wine has ripe cassis with notes of anise, fennel and wet gravel.  On the palate it delivers lush cranberry, a ripe texture; it's firm yet seductive with a long, precise finish.  Give me some lamb or sausage and this wine will SING...and if you don't like lamb or sausage, grab a hunk of cheese and dig in!
